The Paget’s Association introduced an award to recognise hospital and university departments which demonstrate excellence in both the treatment of Paget’s disease and research into the condition. The UK centres which have been recognised as Paget's Association Centres of Excellence are listed below.

Currently led by Professor Terence O’Neill, the Paget’s disease service in Salford, Greater Manchester, was established in the early 1980s by Professor David Anderson. This Centre of Excellence is and based within the Department of Rheumatology.

Southampton

Professors Nicholas Harvey and Elaine Dennison manage the Southampton Centre of Excellence. The Metabolic Bone Service provides services for the diagnosis, investigation and management of bone conditions including Paget’s Disease. The service is closely connected with a programme of research at the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre at the University of Southampton.
